Weaving a V Shawl
The V Shawl is completed in 3 sessions. The first session is 2 1/2 hours, the second session is 1 1/2 hours and the finish is 2 1/2 hours with plain weaving to be completed between each session. This
class is a great refresher on the basic warping technique as we warp the loom
together in the first session. Students will learn the special set up for this project,
weave 33” plain weave on their own and return for the 2nd and 3rd sessions for unique
finishing required to complete their shawl. We will also cover hemstitching,
patterning, tensioning and review basic weaving terminology.
