Boldly Brioche Cowl

Brioche is a knitting technique that creates a soft reversible ribbed fabric. There are many types of brioche stitches including one and two-color, moss, and stockinette which allows for endless design options.

In this class you’ll be using two-color brioche to create this stunning cowl. In the two-color brioche stitch, two rows are worked for every row that appears on the right side of the fabric. The Boldly Brioche Cowl pattern was exclusively designed for Vijay Fibers by Sheryl Thies. The pattern calls for 2 skeins of Serenade by Vijay Fibers (100% Mulberry Silk) in contrasting colors. The cowl is worked in the round using 32" circular needles in US 2 or size needed to get gauge. Finished size is 44" circumference by 12" tall.

This class is for beginners and teaches you the basics of Brioche knitting.
